There are many advantages to have lifting equipment at a factory or in an industrial area. It is highly recommended that operators do not to use the machinery on a slope and it is preferable to park it on a hard surface base to avoid sinking or slippage. Severing one of these lines could be fatal to any human operators or bystanders.

If the machine is being towed, then it must be carried at moderate speed thus enabling it to move smoothly over bumps etc.
