If you do not like driving for long hours, you can take the bus and conveniently wait to arrive at your destination. There many options for convenient traveling and a bus is one of them.

Before buses existed, people had a hard time traveling. Although steam automobiles were invented, only a few people got to own and use these and other people had to travel by other means which was the horse-drawn omnibus, introduced in the 1800’s. This “bus” is carried by one or two horses with the driver seating at the front of a cabin that is enclosed has side benches inside. Unlike today’s design of double decker buses, in the past, the bus had to be pulled by three horses and some people had to seat on top of the enclosed cabin without a top cover and are seating with their backs at each other.

It may look like a fun experience today, but back in the days, you can tell how unpleasant it must have been for some passengers. The smell of the horses can get bad throughout the day and it sometimes get irritable. The heavy load and long hours of travel can tire horses and this can slow down the travel time. The spread of the horse flu was another inconvenient factor as drivers were forced to halt their horse bus services.

In the late 19th century, another public transportation was introduced which was the cable car. It was supposed to be designed to transport passengers efficiently but due to operational costs it had to be stopped, as well as the government did not approve because of possible fatalities it may cause.

After this, the trolley bus came into existence. Trolley bus or street cars follow the rails in city streets with routes set to various places for picking and dropping off passengers. This system had a positive effect to both the people and the city because people in the rural area could travel to the city to work. The rising economy back then was due to the invention of street cars and the increased workforce in the industry. Some cities today still have street cars being used by netizens.

The next invention was the motor bus which was even more favorable than the previous transport means. The demand of public transportation increased as well. Bus companies then started to change their bus designs by increasing the size and seats to accommodate more passengers.

City life can be difficult. In the Big Apple alone, more than 2 million people use the bus to go to work every day. In Chicago, there are about 19,000 bus trips daily.

The fact that millions of people use the bus daily, you could definitely imagine it getting dirty throughout the day.

A bus wash is important to keep the bus clean and for passengers to feel comfortable not to get sick when riding the bus. To effectively clean the bus, it must be done a good bus wash company. People want to ride a bus that is clean, and this demand can be provided by a bus wash company.
